We use speed post to deliver items ordered for delivery in India. We deliver most items at Orbit, across 500 locations in the country. For details on a particular location please mail at email@example.com
What do I do in case I receive a defective / damaged item from Orbit?
All products are insured for transit damage. If a product has been damaged in transit please contact us immediately. If a new product is defective and is not working please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Details on how to proceed with service and replacement will be furnished. Please do not accept any package that has been opened. All products are sealed and then dispatched. If the seal is broken do not accept the package and mention the same on the airway bill.
Ready to ship : We have procured the items in your order, have packed the items and will hand over the consignment to our delivery partner for shipment.
Shipped : Your order has already been shipped out of our warehouse and is on its way to your delivery location.
Adding Items to your Shopping Cart: Once you are ready to purchase an item, click on the link "Add to Cart" next to it. This will add the product of your interest from the store into your own shopping cart.
At this stage, if you have not signed in, we will ask you to enter your Orbit user id and password. If you don't have an Orbit user id and password, you would be required to submit some simple details, including an Orbit user id and password of your choice. You will use the same user id and password for all your subsequent visits to Orbit.
You can add as many items you require from any of our stores to your shopping cart in a similar manner. All stores of Orbit are just a click away and located at the top of your screen.
Once you have finished adding items to your cart, you are now ready to check out. Just click on the " Shopping Cart " icon available on the right panel of every page of the store.
On the shopping cart page, you will use the Proceed to check out button, this will take you to the delivery address option.
Provide Shipping Details:
You can provide an address or update the address where you wish the ordered items to be delivered.
Pay for your order:
You can pay for your order using a credit and debit cards, direct bank account debits, cash on delivery or send us a cheque /demand draft.
Confirm your order:
Now you will be shown the summary of your order. Just confirm your order and enter the payment details to complete the ordering process. On the next page, you will be shown your order number. You will now be informed regularly on the status of your order by emails from Orbit.
Tracking your order:
You can also track the status of your order anytime by going to the "My Account" page and clicking on the "Track your pending orders" link.
Price, specifications and terms of offers are subject to change without notice. Orbit is not responsible for typographical and/or photographical errors. Retail products are accompanied by the original manufacturer warranty.
Customer pays return shipping charges for all warranty, services as Orbit reserves the right to refuse service to anyone. It cannot guarantee the compatibility of items. Please contact the manufacturer(s) directly if you have issues or concerns regarding compatibility.
Ordering an item from Orbit ? We can ship to virtually any address in India. Our Shipping partners are Speed Post, DTDC and Professional couriers.
Delivery dates are relative to your location. You can track the status of your shipment with the docket number that will be mailed to you.
Shipping costs for orders from Orbit depend upon the weight of the product in terms of physical weight or volumetric weight whichever is higher. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full Kilogram.
All orders are dispatched with free transit insurance to protect your order from damage or pilferage
Not Delivered By Speed Post
Speed Post places certain restrictions on the type of products that they will accept to courier and will not ship certain products. Such being the case we may ship through an alternate courier company or inform the customer of the available alternatives.
Usually all orders are processed and shipped within 24 hours, after payment is confirmed. However, certain categories of products have a different lead-time for delivery purely due to the nature of the product and market stock availability. We hold major stock but supply from our distributors is at times delayed at such times we keep the buyer informed.
